To Hlosi from Port Elizabeth

Hlosi Game Lodge is just over an hour's drive from Port Elizabeth Airport. Flying into PE and hiring a car from there is probably the best time-conscious way to get to our lodge. If you have some time to spare along the way, a stop at Nanaga Farmstall comes highly recommended for some South African padkos (Afrikaans word that directly translates to 'road food' or 'food for the road'). 

Your flight lands quite late? Book a stay at one of Lion Roar's sister properties in Port Elizabeth:

To Hlosi from Cape Town

A trip from Cape Town to Hlosi Game Lodge would take about 9 hours driving, excluding stops along the N2 Garden Route.

The Garden Route is a famous route along the south coast of South Africa. A roadtrip along this route is very popular for its incredible views and landscapes, and can be done in one day or broken up into several nights. Route 62 (the grey route in the above map) also offers some wonderful scenery and is a great alternative.

Just over half way along the Garden Route are Lion Roar's Robberg Beach Lodge and Redbourne Country Lodge, offering great accommodation options in Plettenberg Bay, known for its beautiful mountains, white sand and crystal blue water beaches.
